A math maze for addition and subtraction is a maze where the chain is not a series of numbers, as is usually the case. Now it is a chain sums. You never know if the next part of the chain is an addition or a subtraction.
These are the simple rules for solving these math mazes!
- You make a chain of sums by connecting squares horizontally or vertically by making them black.
You make them black by clicking on them once.
- You start at the top left with the green box and you end in the other green box. You don't have to use all
cells.
-
You form groups of 3 numbers that have an addition-relationship or a subtraction-relationship
with each other. The last digit of the group is the new digit for the next group.
This creates a chain of addition and subtraction sums!
Ex. 4+5=9 and 9-3=6 and 6-4=2 gives the chain 4593642.
