Trinary, also known as Trinairo, is a logic puzzle invented by Leo de Winter (Netherlands).
The objective is to fill a 9x9 grid with numbers 123 so that each row and each column contains three numbers 1,
three numbers 2 and three numbers 3.
If a cell is marked with other color, a number in the cell differs
from numbers in all orthogonally adjacent cells.
There also exit trinary puzzles with the letters ABC instead of the numbers 123.
Follow the instructions below to solve trinary puzzles from this website:
LEV: choose your starting level.
PUZ: enter the number of trinary puzzle you want to solve.
START: this puzzle is now loaded.
Click on NEXT to go to the next puzzle.
Click on cell to choose a number (1, 2 or 3) or a number combination (12, 13 or 23).
Click on CHECK to check the trinary puzzle. The wrong cells turn red.
Click on SOL to show the solution of the trinairo puzzle.
